The initial course in Human Factors in Aircraft Maintenance (Part 145) provides the essential training to understand how human behavior, limitations and conditions directly influence the safety and efficiency of aircraft maintenance operations.
Based on Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014, Annex II (Part 145), this course meets the requirements of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), being mandatory for all personnel who perform, supervise or certify maintenance tasks on aircraft.
Course goals
The goal is to learn to identify, manage and reduce human errors, promoting a strong culture of safety and responsibility within approved maintenance organizations (AMO). That is, understand the importance of human factors and delve into human capabilities and behaviors, as well as the interaction between people and machines, systems, procedures and the work environment that surrounds them, in order to improve the safety and effectiveness of said work.
