The AVSEC awareness course for carriers on general security matters provides basic knowledge and attitudes of security, transparency and responsibility in the face of threats of illicit interference.
It is an official training required by Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 and by the AESA National Security Program (PNS).
Goals
This course allows the student to acquire all the training required in the field of airport security applicable to professionals who require security awareness training.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed at:
- Carriers, drivers and/or other people who have access to the supplies of a PS, PB, or cargo and mail of an RA and/or KC.
- Carriers and drivers who carry air cargo safely without handling it.
- Personnel who deliver or receive supplies, airport supplies or identifiable airmail.
- Individuals or companies that need to meet general security requirements to obtain AVSEC-related accreditations.
- Logistics operators, delivery people, support personnel who have physical access to merchandise linked to air transport, but do not carry out technical inspection.

- Previous acts of unlawful interference against civil aviation, terrorist acts and actual threats.
- Relevant legal requirements and knowledge of the elements that contribute to creating a strong and resilient safety culture in the workplace and aviation, including but not limited to insider threat and radicalization.
- Objectives and organization of aviation security, including the obligations and responsibilities of persons carrying out security checks.
- Notification procedures.
- Action in case of security incidents.
