The AVSEC course on security checks of people, baggage and belongings (11.2.3.1)<\/strong> is designed to train personnel in charge of airport inspection and control processes, such as personal security checks, carry-on baggage scans and searches of belongings.<\/p>

The training is based on the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2015\/1998 <\/a>and applicable national regulations, and teaches both the legal basis and operating procedures, types of permitted equipment, detection techniques, concealment methods and actions in the event of discovery of prohibited items.<\/p>
